Thank you so much, Miss Nicky!!!

Your toffees were, as usual, an enormous hit! Wiped clean! You are so talented, and The Grove said they are enamored with your work as well.

Much love and thanks!

Dear Nicky:

Thank you for the wonderful donation of your delicious almond toffee and your new Mazel-toffee to Homeless Solutions for our Dream Builders Bash Silent Auction. We received great feedback from our guests about the variety of our auction items.

Bash guests enjoyed using the BidPal for the first time to place their bids. The BidPal is a hand held device (like an Ipod Touch) that catalogs all the items and lets the bidder place and track their bid electronically. As an auction donor, your company’s name was listed and acknowledged in each BidPal which were used by over 230 guests at the Bash.

We are ‘grateful for your participation in the 1i h Annual Dream Builders’ Bash which raised over $135,000 in net proceeds for our shelter programs. Your partnership enables us to provide housing, supportive services, and hope for homeless men, women and children.

We look forward to your continued support of Homeless Solutions and the Dream Builders Bash!

With much appreciation,

Stephanie M. Cicale

Director of Development

Dear Nicky:

Thank you so much for your generous gift to our auction and raffle at our CODE Red Fundraiser on March 30, 2012. The cupcakes were delicious!

The event was a great success on many levels. We received overwhelming support of more than 500 individuals and businesses. The funds we raised support disaster services throughout Northern New Jersey.

Again, on behalf of our Board of Directors and CODE Red Committee, thank you very much for your support of the Red Cross. We hope you will continue to support us at next year’s event!

Sincerely,

Michelle Esposito

Executive Director

Dear Nicky:

Many thanks for your generosity in contributing the delicious baked goods for our community service night at Bradford School back in December. We heard many “oohs” and “aahs” from the folks (and their kids) who attended. “The almond toffee brittle was awesome,” said one child. (And one mother remarked that she wanted to hide the box of almond toffee brittle somewhere so she could eat the whole thing.) There were a lot of cheers for the rum cake and the banana-split cupcakes, too.

We hope you know that we promoted your goodies a couple of times throughout the evening. Of course, Mesiah Event Planners was highlighted and officially thanked in the January issue of our school’s monthly newsletter, which goes home to parents in the children’s backpacks.

Thanks again. We appreciate your involvement in our school event and your help in making the evening such a scrumptious one.

Sincerely,

Cassandra Bollinger – Corresponding Secretary

Dear Miss Nicky

Thank you so much for helping to make our Second Annual Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival such a huge success! It was a SOLD-OUT event. Some of the feedback we received was … “The best food and wine event / have ever been to”… ” / am definitely going to make a reservation at that restaurant”… “what an amazing cross-section of restaurants”… and “great, extensive selection of wines and spirits”. There was also one unanimous request, “/ hope you are going to continue this every year”.

The success of our event would not have been possible without your generosity and the generosity of another 38 restaurants, 15 wine distributors, and 12 fire departments; all willing to showcase one of their signature dishes or wines to the nearly 850 guests in attendance that evening. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as our guests.

We are proud of the enormous media coverage that we received that evening. We had reporters from FIOS I, News 12, the Star Ledger, and Tri-County Journal. We feel confident that this year’s coverage will help to make next year’s event even larger and more successful.

Again, thank you for being a part of a very special evening and we hope to see you again next year. Mark your calendar for January 28, 2013.

Sincerely,

Chief J. Michael Roberts

Sharron Miller’s Academy for the Performing Arts (SMAPA) wishes to thank you for making this the best Scholarship Benefit Concert and Fundraiser ever!!! Have a wonderful summer and we hope to see you again next year.

Nicky,

I should have videotaped them going after the toffee!! At first, they regarded it suspiciously, wondering if they could just take some…then, the word got around and they went after it with a vengeance! When they indicated that it was time to go into the dining room for the festivities, I heard people say, “I’m going to get one last piece of that toffee!!!!”

What a scream!

Jacquie

Thank you so much for the graduation cookies. They were a level of delicious that was quite literally impossible to describe. The only thing that would make your gift better is if you would come pick up your jar so I could finally see you for the first time in so long!

Thank you.

Hello

I live in Montclair and discovered your amazing toffee at Spice It Up a couple of years ago, and it is now my favorite teacher’s gift treat (and treat for myself at the holidays). I just noticed that Spice It Up is closing – would it be possible for me to put in an order directly to you and pick it up? I won’t need it until mid-December but I’m already planning my gifts. I can’t bear to go through the holiday without some of your delicious toffee.

Thank you.

Emily

I didn’t know you would be there — otherwise I would have picked up myself! That was my husband, Vince, picking up. As always, everything was absolutely superb. Marilyn and I are always under a microscope when our southern relatives come up to visit — always defending our Northern upbringing and proving that we still know how to serve a decent meal. Our dessert offerings increased our stock considerably.

Thanks for helping to make our family gathering extra special and delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cakes and the cupcakes.

Take Care,

Lynne

Rob and I are most grateful to you for all your efforts to make our evening the delightful, delicious, relaxing and carefree evening that it was. All of my guests were appreciative of the wonderful food and the gracious service and you made it all possible.

A friend of mine from Short Hills called yesterday AM for your name and number for an event she is having I believe before year-end, so am hopeful this will be yet another referral for you. With my business people often ask for all sorts of referrals so it will be a pleasure to recommend you now for not just wonderful desserts, but for all their party and event needs.

Would like to invite you to lunch in then near future as a thank you for your efforts. I shall give you a ring next week after the guests have all left so we can plan something.

Also any time you might need Maison for an event for your friend just call me.

Warm wishes,

Nicky,There was riot around my dining table last night while my book club guests pulled hair, scratched eyes, and yanked extremities trying to get at the various delectables that you prepared for us!!!!! Oh, my God – Call out the National Guard! :+)

All of my friends are slim and trim, for the simple reason that they watch what they eat, and wouldn’t be caught dead eating a brownie in public. I have to laugh because I emailed them the menu in advance and warned them not to come if they were counting calories. When the doorbell rang at 8:00 PM, on the dot, I was stunned. The first to arrive said, “With a menu like that, I will not be late.” What a hoot! These women lapped it up and came back for more. That is a true testament to your delectables.

Thank you, and…until we meet again!

Hi Nicky,

I just received the sample of your toffee. I must admit it was amazing! Between the girls in the office we practically polished off the entire box and bag. We appreciate the kind gesture. I hope to work with you in the future for any of your catering needs.

Best Regards,

I just wanted to thank you so much for stopping by today. I apologize that I was right in the middle of that valium/vicodin cocktail and so was a little out of it. I was so touched that you not only took the time to stop by but also to bring some of your wonderful toffee. I realized that I didn’t tell you that after you brought your toffee and those wonderful cookies to the other meeting I was not allowed to eat anything because I went from the meeting to the Breast Center for my MRI. And since all those skinny girls were going to the gym from there they left the half full box behind and I absconded with it so I would have something to look forward to after my test. I carried that box right into the MRI Center with me as my comfort object! After I was done I sat in my car and enjoyed the entire rest of the box and felt so much better. It was my calm after the storm… Then when they told me they would use my belly fat to reconstruct my new breasts, I really helped myself at the last meeting and took that beautiful green box with me. (Perhaps my love of toffee and such is WHY I had enough belly fat to make breasts, but who cares!!)So I now associate your amazing toffee with comfort and love and healing and seeing your beautiful face at my door this afternoon with another box just warmed my heart more than I can say. Thank you for all the kindness and the healing powers of your toffee!

Nicky,

What a very thoughtful gesture to include your Praline cookies with your mom’s icing and, while I can’t wait to try them, I just tasted one of your Chillie Millie cookies and it was an OMG scrumptious moment! It’s simply impossible for those cookies to be that fabulous and be healthy. Keeping baking — I may be addicted!

TGIF — enjoy your weekend!

Nicky

Thank you so much for your wonderful surprise toffee shipment. You are a thoughtful, generous woman (not to mention smart, witty and extremely attractive).

Your toffee makes me happy. It is definitely addicting. I came home from work and Mark already had the box open and the bag with the regular toffee almost gone. I immediately went for the spelenda bag. I am not a great chocolate lover and the toffee tastes so much butterier than it does when the chocolate is added.

Mark loves the regular toffee and complains that I don’t buy it enough.

Take care. I look forward to seeing you very soon

Thanks again.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I assume you are going home to have dinner with your family.

What a wonderful surprise! Thanks so much for thinking of me and your delicious treat could never have come at a better time. . . I have 2 girls home sick, Allison with Scarlet Fever. So they are sick and can’t eat anything, but they DOVE on the toffee!!! We miss you at the Gala meetings.

Hope I’ll see you soon

Hey Nicky-

Thank you again for organizing my wonderful birthday party!

My friend called me this morning, not to say what a great time he had, but to find out if we had any cookies left over. He asked if I could order him some chocolate chip cookies and some toffee. So…please let me know if and how I can place an order (I’d like to order some as well).

No rush on it but I promised him that I’d ask.

Thanks again.

Mmmmmmmmm MMM!!!!!! Those cookies are DELISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, my friend, for thinking of me, and sending me my favorite special treat. Saturday was a cold soggy night, I was still a bit “under the weather”, but I swear those cookies made me sing like a nightengale! 🙂

You’re the best… and by the way, I was at a book club meeting last night with some ladies who were at the 50/50 birthday bash YOU did Saturday night, and they went ON AND ON about you and how fantabulous you made the party (of course, I said!!!).

Love ya, Nicky!
